A 20-year-old pistillate has died aft a clang astatine a road intersection successful southwestern Manitoba connected Friday morning, RCMP say.

Police were called to a two-vehicle clang astatine the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 83 conscionable extracurricular the municipality of Virden, Man., astir 10:10 a.m. that day, Mounties said successful a quality merchandise Tuesday.

Investigators judge the car the pistillate was driving was going southbound connected Highway 83 and trying to transverse Highway 1 erstwhile it collided with a pickup motortruck going westbound connected Highway 1, the merchandise said. 

The pistillate was taken to hospital, wherever she died from her injuries. She was the lone idiosyncratic successful the car astatine the clip of the crash, RCMP said.
