Winnipeg Police accidental a 15-year-old lad is successful custody after an unprovoked machete onslaught near a 68-year-old antheral with superior injuries connected Friday.
On Friday around 8:20 p.m., a antheral was randomly assaulted on Henry Avenue, adjacent the Disraeli Freeway, by a teenage lad equipped with a machete, according to a constabulary release.
Police accidental erstwhile they arrived connected scene, a witnesser told them the 68-year-old antheral was walking past the Salvation Army when helium was assaulted by a 15-year-old lad who was carrying a machete.
Witnesses surrounded the teen so helium couldn't permission and flagged down constabulary patrolling successful the area, constabulary said.
The teen was arrested, and constabulary accidental 2 machetes were recovered during the arrest.
The unfortunate was taken to infirmary successful unstable information and has since been upgraded to stable, and constabulary accidental helium requires country to repair the harm done by the assault.
