The incidental happened astir 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to Monica Hudon, a spokesperson for the Special Investigations Unit (SIU).
Details are scarce, but Hudon said a nonaccomplishment prevention serviceman "became progressive successful an interaction" with a 37-year-old man.
A Toronto constabulary serviceman past "became alert of what was happening" and Tasered the man, which led to him falling to the ground, Hudon said.
