Magellan Aerospace manufactures the horizontal process assembly utilized successful Lockheed Martin's F-35A Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter aircraft.
A Manitoba institution that supplies hardware entered into an statement successful 2011 to proviso Magellan with parts for the manufacture of the Joint Strike Fighter.
After that statement expired successful 2017, different statement took effect until April 30, 2023, says the connection of assertion filed successful court.
It says the 2 companies were incapable to negociate a caller agreement, and successful December 2024, Adams Supply issued 2 invoices to Magellan, for a full of $1,499,980.35.
The invoices were to beryllium paid by Magellan by April 5, 2025, the suit claims.
"Despite Adams Supply afloat performing its obligations nether the procurement agreement" and issuing invoices, the tribunal papers alleges "Magellan has failed, neglected and/or refused to wage the invoices."
The suit was filed by A. Adams Supply (1969) Ltd. connected April 7 astatine Manitoba Court of King's Bench successful Winnipeg, and names Magellan Aerospace Ltd. and Magellan Aerospace Winnipeg arsenic defendants.
The plaintiff is seeking a tribunal judgement for the invoices, positive interest and tribunal costs.

CBC News contacted Magellan Aerospace and the lawyer for Adams Supply for remark connected the suit but has not received a response.
