Olympic champion Lukas Martens of Germany has breached the men's 400-metre freestyle grounds astatine the Swim Open Stockholm.

Martens became the archetypal swimmer to interruption the three minute 40 seconds barrier, finishing Saturday's contention with a clip of 3:39.96.
