A 27-year-old antheral wanted on provincewide warrants for offences including attempted execution was arrested aboriginal Friday aft a car clang connected Highway 102 adjacent Brookfield, N.S. 

According to an RCMP release, Colchester County District RCMP and Truro constabulary responded to a car clang astatine 1 a.m. aft a pickup motortruck and SUV crashed disconnected a road exit.

Two vehicles drove done a checkpoint conducted by the Truro Police Service soon earlier the crash. After the crash, 3 males fled to a wooded area.

Truro police officers arrested the 27-year-old man. He was wanted for offences successful Halifax and Millbrook that besides see aggravated assault. 

Shortly after, RCMP officers arrested a 17-year-old antheral from Eastern Passage. The younker was equipped and wearing assemblage armour erstwhile arrested.

The 3rd antheral hasn't been located.

Truro constabulary seized 3 firearms, 2 sets of assemblage armour, ammunition and some vehicles astatine the clang scene. Police believe one of the vehicles was stolen.

The probe into the clang and the firearms is ongoing, constabulary say.
