A 62-year-old antheral from the Keeseekoose First Nation, adjacent Yorkton, Sask., is present charged with manslaughter aft a fatal collision Aug. 24 connected a adjacent First Nation.

RCMP accidental Kenward Strongquill drove into a radical of 4 pedestrians — 1 big and 3 girls nether the property of 12 — connected the Key First Nation. All 4 were injured and 1 of the girls died.

Strongquill did not enactment astatine the mishap country and was arrested later, RCMP say.

He was primitively charged with failing to halt astatine the country of an accident, 3 counts of impaired driving and 1 number of impaired driving causing death.

On Monday, those charges were upgraded to see manslaughter.

Strongquill has been successful custody since the crash.
