Thunder Bay City Council has approved a determination connected Cumberland Street for a impermanent structure colony that would service the city's unhoused population.

City medication was recommending a determination connected Fort William Road, crossed from the CLE grounds, successful a study that went to assembly connected Monday night.

However, an amendment was tabled that alternatively suggested the Cumberland Street site, which is adjacent the Salvation Army's Journey to Live Centre.
