In a quality merchandise connected Monday, the RCMP said officers successful St. Anthony received a telephone for assistance astir 9:30 p.m. NT aft a antheral and a pistillate fell disconnected the watercraft portion connected Gull Pond, adjacent St. Lunaire-Griquet.
While the pistillate was capable to aquatics to shore, the RCMP said the antheral did not resurface.
Crews searched for the antheral into Sunday evening, and the RCMP's underwater dive squad was called successful to proceed the hunt connected Monday. Family members accidental the assemblage was recovered connected Tuesday morning.
In a connection sent astir noon, the RCMP confirmed the man's assemblage had been located connected Tuesday by the underwater betterment team.
