British Columbia's archetypal tornado of the twelvemonth touched down adjacent the municipality of Vanderhoof earlier this week.
A study from Western University's Northern Tornadoes Project said a landspout-type tornado occurred connected Wednesday day adjacent the assemblage of approximately 4,000 people, located astir 80 kilometres westbound of Prince George.
It said 2 videos of the tornado were captured, and no harm has been reported.
Ross Macdonald, a elder meteorologist with Environment Canada, confirmed that a tornado occurred adjacent Vanderhoof astir 1:30 p.m. PT Wednesday.
