A nine-year-old kid is recovering aft being deed by a conveyance successful downtown Windsor connected Friday evening, according to police.
Police said officers responded to the country adjacent Wyandotte Street West and Church Street soon aft 6 p.m. ET. The kid was attempting to transverse the thoroughfare outside a crosswalk erstwhile hit.
Police accidental the operator remained astatine the scene. Emergency crews, including paramedics and firefighters, provided attraction earlier taking the kid to the infirmary with superior but non-life-threatening injuries.
The country was held for respective hours portion officers investigated and has since reopened.
