4 children allegedly assaulted at daycare in Spruce Grove, police say

RCMP are investigating what they picture arsenic alleged assaults of 4 children astatine a daycare westbound of Edmonton. 

Parkland RCMP say the alleged assaults happened at Little Stars Montessori Early Learning Centre successful Spruce Grove betwixt March 6 and March 12.

To date, 4 alleged victims person been identified, though RCMP judge determination could beryllium more.

"We were notified by immoderate household successful Spruce Grove [that] a section daycare had reported to them that determination were immoderate allegations of battle that took place. Once the parents were notified, they past notified the RCMP detachment present successful town," said Const. Brody Dyson with Parkland RCMP. 

The daycare was antecedently nether AHS inspection for violations arsenic caller arsenic Dec. 9, 2024. Violations included improper diapering and inadequate cleaning measures. 

Police person not laid immoderate charges, but are looking for more alleged victims to travel forward. Police said the daycare is co-operating with the investigation. 

The owners of Little Stars Montessori Early Learning Centre declined to comment.
