3 people injured following stabbing at Hamilton mosque, police say

Three radical are  injured pursuing stabbing astatine a downtown mosque successful Hamilton, constabulary say.

Hamilton constabulary said they received reports astatine 2:15 p.m. that respective radical had been stabbed "after an altercation" that started extracurricular the mosque connected York Boulevard and past continued wrong the building.

The incident, constabulary said, is not believed to beryllium hate-motivated astatine this clip and the radical progressive "were known to each other."

One idiosyncratic was transported to hospital, constabulary said, with non-life-threatening injuries, and different was treated astatine the scene. A third person showed up astatine the hospital, constabulary said, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are present looking for 2 suspects who fled successful an "unknown direction."
